My folder shows that I have a student assigned to me, but there’s no one in my in-box.

Sometimes your folder will be yellow which indicates that a student has been assigned to you. But when you go to the My In-Box window, you do not have a student there.
So what’s going on?
The reason why this is happening is because a student has been assigned to you in a different department from the one you are currently logged into.
For example, let’s say last week you were seeing students in Financial Aid. But when you went home for the day you forgot to log a student out. This week you are working in Advising. Although you are logged into the Advising department, Who’s Next still sees that you have a student in your inbox from Financial Aid.
To solve this problem please follow these steps:
1. Log into Who’s Next like normal.
2. Go to File > Change Departments…
3. Select the first department in your list and click the Select… button.
4. Check to see if a student is in your My In-Box window. If so you can remove or sign out the student.
5. Perform steps 2-4 for every department you have access to.
If after performing these steps you still cannot find the student, this means that you no longer have access to the department where the student resides. If this happens please contact us by calling 1.866.317.0256 or email us at Support@BlueEonSolutions.com.
